A Black Feather, A poison pen... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- interzone revisited, perhaps? i don't know if i should be alarmed or not... i feel physically fine, but just like last summer at this time, a few weeks before the events that led to my hospitalization, i have occasionally been having weird dreams... most recently, a dream in which i was on TV as the play-by-play announcer at some sort of cage-fight in which during a protracted locked grapple, the two combatants simultaneously dislocated each other's shoulders in a really gruesome fashion trying to outmuscle each other for leverage, both men falling backwards to the floor away from each other clutching their now limp and twisted arms I was stuck out at ringside trying to keep talking as the paramedics came and rushed the men out and asking the now hushed audience to give the combatants a round of applause for their efforts as they were stretchered out. The whole dream made no sense to me as i rarely ever watch Mixed Martial Arts events Another one involved a talking cat who showed up at my door trying to sell me something and then made it a point to hang around asking uncomfortable questions about my personal life and occasionally drive his points home by singing Smiths songs in an uncanny Morrissey impersonation like i said, the last time i had as many consistently fucked up dreams as i've been having lately i was in my nearly half-dead state and delerious from the effects of all the sugar turning my blood into acid, this time, i'm just having the funky dreams and my blood-sugar is maybe only at questionable levels as opposed to lethal ones 9:08 p.m. - 2003-06-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
