A Black Feather, A poison pen... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- grrrr....arrrgh....rrrr...mrrrarrrr i miss sleep...for some reason or other i'm now going on four days with little more than a few very brief naps...have had a hard time with the stereo, hoping a little music might help me drift away, but the confluence of the summer storm season and the so-called "easy listening" (now there's a fucking misnomer and a half considering how patently unlistenable half of that shit it...i think the last decent songs i heard them play as i was trying to listen to something else in the CD player were a couple of Ray Charles songs on separate occasions..."You Don't Know Me" and "I can't stop loving you"...which i would call a million fucking times more listenable than "Feelings" or "Muskrat Love" or any of the other miserably stupid shit they play) station across the block that bleeds into my stereo wiring acrually seems louder when the volume knob is set lower finally couldn't ignore the wear and tear on my shoes any longer, opted to buy another pair, 30 bucks, probably will last me at least through the holidays then i'll need to invest in better shoes that will last a little longer though for the sake of all things being equal i should invest in a trip to the surplus store and a couple of good pairs of combat boots since i can make them pass for clunky dress-shoes with a good polishing and they stand up to a million times more abuse than any other shoes i've owned. My last two pairs lasted me somewhere in the neighborhood of seven years if that gives you any indication anyway, i'm rambling, this is what lack of sleep made up for by large quantities of caffeine can do to me sometimes, good thing i'm not into speed or i would have literally ripped the house to it's foundations jus from the aggressive boredom of this feeling. 11:50 a.m. - 2003-08-23 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
