He made it sound as though little Timmy actually gnawed on Du(m)bya for a while like the so-called "bulldog" that Russert has a (now totally undeserved) reputation for being...and then he has the nerve to complain less about the pResident's weak-assed responses than he does about the commercials that aired... yeah, real substantial. Supposedly the Shrub wanted to bring up the subject of Gay Marriage, but didn't get the chance to cover that ground as Russert never asked any question along that line. Al Sharpton phrased it best when he remarked recently that Bush is more concerned, apparently, with whom we are sleeping than whethor or not we will still have jobs or be safe in any way when we wake up. (I paraphrased a tiny bit, but that is essentially what he said.) Meanwhile, the Center for American Progress has Some interesting info on both The Boy Emperor's credibility gap and the ever widening credibility gap of the mainstream media. Speaking of media... we have Michael Powell, a guy who ignored the letters of MILLIONS of people who wrote in to complain about his willingness to allow for more and more media consolidation but listened to the "thousands" of complaints about a bare breast... yeah, we know where his priorities are.... how much do you wanna bet that if he goes through with his plan to discuss the possibility of revoking CBS/Viacom's broadcasting license that old Rupert "When can i buy it?"
